34th Annual Greek Festival, Saturday, 8/29/15 & Sunday, 8/30/15, 12:00-9:00pm, McCoy Pavilion in Ala Moana Park. $3 admission but active duty military & kids 11 yo & younger are free. Festival celebrating Greek culture with Greek food, dancing & related merchandise for sale. Sponsored by Ss Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Pacific.



Duke’s Oceanfest, 8/22/15-8/30/15, various locations & times. Week long ocean sports festival honoring the legacy of Hawaiian Duke Paoa Kahanamoku who was a renowned waterman & ambassador of Aloha. Some of the events focus on ocean sports that Duke loved such as longboard surfing, swimming, tandem surfing, water polo & beach volleyball.



Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival, Sunday, 8/16/15, Kapiolani Park, 12:00-6:00pm. Live performances from slack key guitar legends and artists. More details aren’t out yet but it will be held at the Waikiki Shell in the park & there will probably be food & related merchandise vendors on site.



21st Annual “Made in Hawaii Festival” sponsored by First Hawaiian Bank, 8/21/15-8/23/15, Neil S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, 10:00-9:00pm on Friday & Saturday, 10:00-5:00pm on Sunday; $5, kids 6 yo & younger free. Look for $1 off coupons at First Hawaiian Bank. Features goods made in Hawaii such as books, arts & crafts, fashions, gifts, Produce & plants.
